1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Video to Slides, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Video to Slides provides tools to upload videos and extract frames, detect slide changes, apply deduplication, perform OCR, and generate downloadable outputs such as images or slide-based exports.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and confirm that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to process such content using the service. You must not upload content that infringes on the rights of others or violates any applicable laws.
4. Content Processing and Outputs
The service uses automated systems to extract frames, detect changes, and generate OCR text. Outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before using them for any purpose.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to attempting to disrupt system operations, bypass usage limits, upload malicious or illegal content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
6. Billing and Refunds
We offer recurring monthly or annual subscriptions and may also offer one-time credit purchases. By completing checkout, you authorize the charges shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel through your account settings at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents future renewal charges.
Because access to our digital service and credits is provided immediately, fees are generally non-refundable. However, a first-time subscriber may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial subscription charge if no included credits have been used. A one-time credit purchase may be refunded within 7 days only if none of the purchased credits have been used. We will also refund duplicate or erroneous charges. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Refunds do not apply to used credits, partially used credit packs, subscription periods already used, renewal charges, or accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms, except where required by law. To request a refund, email hello@videotoslides.org within the applicable timeframe and include your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, infringe the rights of others, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, create risk or harm for the service or other users, or if suspension or termination is required by law. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove prohibited content, limit features, or terminate your account without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately and you may lose access to stored content and unused credits. Fees will not be refunded except as stated in Section 6 or as required by applicable law.
8. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
Video to Slides and its underlying technology, design, and branding are owned by the service operator. You retain ownership of your uploaded content, subject to the limited rights necessary for us to process it.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
